The Sharjah International Book Fair, in its 43rd session, which will be held from November 6 to 17 at Expo Center Sharjah, combines the passion for reading with the joy of cooking, as it witnesses the organization of 47 live cooking events presented by 17 experts from top international chefs, who come from 13 countries, including four new countries: Vietnam, the Sultanate of Oman, Slovenia, and Nepal, to offer visitors a unique experience that combines modern culinary arts with the richness of authentic flavours.

 

The participating chefs are distinguished The exhibition is based on their being the authors of a number of the most famous international publications in the art of cooking, a number of which have won international awards and been translated into more than one language, or writers in some international magazines, such as “The Times”, which has made some of them receive more than 80 million views of their programs and performances. He participates in the "Culinary Corner" At the Sharjah International Book Fair, Moroccan chef Alia Al Qasimi, who is considered one of the most prominent innovators in the art of cooking and an ambassador for Moroccan cuisine, is famous for her channel “Cooking with Alia,” which has achieved more than 80 million views.

 

Also participating in the exhibition is British chef Ruby Bogal, who rose to fame on the program “The Great British Bake Off.” Thanks to her appearance on this famous program, Ruby wrote for prestigious magazines such as GQ and “The Times.”

 

In addition to these, Iraqi chef Lamis Attar Bashi stands out in the exhibition, who achieved wide fame by mixing Middle Eastern flavors with modern methods, and proved herself through her television program “Lamis’ Table.” And its company “Bashy Foods” In the United States, in addition to South African chef Zola Nene, who showcases her expertise in the art of cooking; She was distinguished by writing successful cookbooks and working as a resident chef on the “Expresso” program. She is the author of several best-selling cookbooks.

 

Also participating is Vietnamese-British chef Tuy Diem Pham, who founded the restaurant "The Little Veet Kitchen" Award-winning London-based, acclaimed book author and culinary consultant to restaurants; Among the guests of the “Cooking Corner” In the exhibition, Slovenian chef Anita Schomer is featured, who is famous for her sourdough bread and simplifying the method of its preparation. She is the author of several successful books that have been translated into different languages, and has won international awards in the field of cooking.
