Shannon Sharpe reveals rape accuser will release SEX TAPE… as he makes stunning accusation against lawyer
Shannon Sharpe is preparing his fans for the release of a sex tape between himself and the ex-girlfriend suing him for $50 million over rape accusations. What’s more, Sharpe claims the woman’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, has a history of targeting black men for his own financial gain.
‘Tony Buzbee targets black men and I believe he’s going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and play into every stereotype you can possibly imagine,’ the Denver Broncos great and popular podcaster said in a recorded statement posted on Instagram.
A well-known Houston lawyer, Buzbee previously represented the women who settled sexual misconduct lawsuits against NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson, now a member of the Cleveland Browns. Buzbee is also currently representing Andrew Tate’s ex-girlfriend, who accused the controversial influencer of physical abuse, and the woman who dropped her sexual assault accusations against Jay-Z.
The rapper has since filed an extortion claim against Buzbee.
Sharpe, who has denied the rape allegations, is now accusing Buzbee of a ‘shakedown.’
‘I’m going to be open, transparent and I’m going to defend myself because this isn’t right,’ Sharpe said on Instagram following Tuesday’s guest-spot on ESPN’s ‘First Take.’

Earlier in the day, Buzbee released a recorded phone call, purportedly between his client and Sharpe. The clip contains a man, who sounds like Sharpe, threatening to ‘f***ing choke the s***’ out of the woman, who is believed to be the plaintiff in the $50 million lawsuit.
In response, Sharpe released his own recorded statement in which he announced his intention to sue Buzbee for defamation, while continuing to identify his accuser by name and profession.
That woman is identified only as ‘Jane Doe’ in her lawsuit accusing Sharpe of raping her in both late 2024 and early 2025, when they were in a relationship.
‘[Jane Doe] and Tony Buzbee want $50 million,’ Sharpe said. ‘What they’re getting is sued for defamation and trying to take me down.’
