Serbian gold play the gift that keeps giving for Strickland

The Shanac deposit contains a broad volume of skarn-hosted gold, silver, zinc and lead mineralisation, with its highest gold grades in proximity to the base of volcanic cover in association with strongly disseminated to semi-massive pyrite. Pyrite is an iron mineral nicknamed “fool’s gold” due to its pale-brass-yellow appearance often misleading novices because it resembles gold’s colour and metallic lustre.

The company has four drill-rigs continuing to work at Rogozna and with the ongoing quality and thickness of the mineralisation being intersected at the project, it plans to reveal an updated mineral resource early next year.

Assays remain pending for multiple holes including the initial three holes to test the up-dip extension at the Gradina prospect.

Strickland remains well-funded with an estimated $41.1 million cash and Northern Star Resources shares on hand at the end of September.

The company’s ongoing drill programs continue to reveal a monster of a deposit that appears to become even more monstrous with every drill hole.
