Two joint advocacy convoys between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Ministry of Endowments set off for the governorates of Cairo and North Sinai, today, Friday, January 3, 2025 AD. The convoy includes ten scholars, five from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif scholars, and five from the Ministry of Endowments, so that they can all speak with one voice on the topic: " “Making Hope” comes within the framework of joint cooperation and continuous coordination between the Ministry of Endowments and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and under the sponsorship of A generous gift from His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar; And His Excellency Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments.
The scholars participating in the convoy pointed out that God – Glory be to Him – is generous, gracious, righteous, and kind, and does not increase the number of needs. Except for generosity, generosity and honor! How many calamities did He uncover, how many supplications did He answer, how many prostrations did He accept, how many distresses did He relieve, how many poor people He gave to, how many poor people He enriched, how many orphans He sheltered, and how many sick people He healed, calling for optimism and hope, guided by the hadith of our Prophet – May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: "I am as my servant thinks of me; Let My servant think of Me whatever he wishes.”
The scholars emphasized through their call that hope is the sun of life, with tranquility of the heart, tranquility of the soul, and comfort of the heart, calling for getting closer to God with hope, optimism, and goodness. Thinking, prostrating to the Most High Lord, praising Him with attributes of beauty and majesty, and broadcasting Hopes and ambitions are in His hands – Glory be to Him – and that God is capable of all things, and nothing is impossible for Him on earth or in heaven, adding: Begin with your prayer to revive hope in the souls of people, comforting their thoughts with a kind word, a tender smile, mercy for the young, and a swab on the head of an orphan. An invitation to the sick, a kindness to the afflicted, and kindness to the sad. May hope flow through these souls as water flows through roses. From here civilization is created, and man is built.
