Senate Member: Calls for the bombing of the “Al -Aqsa Mosque” threatening the stability of the region and Egypt is serious in protecting the sanctities
Representative Abdo Abu Aisha, a member of the Senate, confirmed that the calls for bombing the Al -Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, which were launched by some Israeli settlement organizations, are a serious threat not only for Islamic holy sites, but also for the security and stability of the entire region. Abu Ayesh said, in a press statement today, that these calls represent an unprecedented escalation in the attacks on the holy places, warning that the continuation of this extremist discourse may lead to an escalation of the situation and the outbreak of religious conflicts that affect all the peoples of the region. The Senate member pointed out that the Al -Aqsa Mosque is an irreparable red line, warning that the attack on Islamic sanctities in Jerusalem is a provocation to the feelings of Muslims all over the world. Abu Aisha added that these calls from the extremist Israeli organizations seek to devote a state of tension and sedition in the region, stressing that these actions contradict all human and religious values. The deputy praised the historical and continuous role that Egypt plays in protecting Jerusalem and Islamic holy sites, stressing that Egypt is always at the forefront of countries defending the rights of the Palestinian people and Islamic holy sites in all international forums. Abdo Abu Ayesh explained that Egypt has provided many initiatives in this regard, whether at the United Nations level or through communication with the parties concerned to clarify the danger of these Israeli practices. The Dakhliya Deputy also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in facing this dangerous escalation, stressing the importance of taking strong measures to stop the continuous Israeli attacks on the Palestinians and their sanctities.
