During the event, host Kristen Bell made a joke about the actress’ early years in Barney & Friends, before footage from the show flashed across the screen.
But the Only Murders in the Building star, 32, seemed mortified by the blast from her past being showcased in front of all of her peers and millions of viewers.
Kristen, 44, hilariously performed a rendition of her Frozen character’s song Do You Want to Be a Snowman? during the show – but instead, she changed it to Do You Want to Be an Actress?
‘Do you want to be an actress? Let’s get your foot inside the door,’ she sang.
‘Can you scream a lot on Halloween?’ she said as a clip of Jamie Lee Curtis in the beloved horror flick Halloween played on the screen behind her.
‘Or be a beauty queen? Or hug a purple dinosaur?’ she continued.
It was then that a video of Selena as a child in Barney popped up.

While many were amazed by her appearance, some X users, however, speculated that she may be using ‘Ozempic’ or another weight loss drug.
In November, the singer revealed that she suffers from an intestinal illness called SIBO.
After viewing a since-deleted TikTok video that scrutinized her appearance, she commented: ‘This makes me sick.

‘I have SIBO in my small intestine. It flares up. I don’t care that I don’t look like a stick figure. I don’t have that body. End of story. No I am NOT a victim. I’m just human.’
SIBO stands for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, which happens when ‘the passage of food and waste products in the digestive tract’ slows, ‘creating a breeding ground for bacteria,’ per the Mayo Clinic.
The condition is usually caused by ‘surgery or disease,’ the clinic said, as ‘symptoms include bloating, stomach pain, and malnutrition.’
Last year, Selena admitted that she use to previously cry her ‘eyes out’ over body shaming comments, but added at the time that she is now ‘proud’ of who she is.
‘I’m not perfect but I am proud to be who I am… sometimes I forget it’s OK to be me,’ she wrote on Instagram.
