Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, stressed the intensification of ration campaigns to monitor and follow up on the markets to confront the sale of subsidized food commodities of unknown origin and expired dates, stressing adherence to the ration requirements for goods and exhibits and their compliance with specifications, and combating all forms of commercial fraud and deception.

In this context, the Beheira Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade launched several ration campaigns in the markets to confront the sale of food commodities of unknown origin and expired.

These campaigns, which were supervised by Mohamed Ragab Hadiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, resulted in the seizure of 2,000 packages of food supplies of unknown origin. 37 reports were issued for failure to announce prices, and legal measures were taken against violators.
