See the stunning NSW street dubbed the ‘most beautiful’ in Australia: ‘Straight out of a postcard’
Travellers have discovered a ‘hidden gem’ drive in Australia that boasts some of the best views in the country – and thousands have dubbed it a ‘must visit’ spot.
Couple Shruti and Dishant Rawat drove down 1 Tasman Dr in Gerringong, New South Wales, and were stunned by the iconic ocean views.
Gerringong is a two hour drive away from Sydney and only 10 minutes from popular tourist hub Kiama.
The tiny 4,000 person beachside town is perfect for weekend getaways to whale watch, surf in calm coves, and wander through rolling farmland.
‘Such an underrated city known for its beautiful landscapes and coastal walks,’ Shruti and Dishant said.
A few top attractions in Gerringong include Werri Beach, Fern Street Art Gallery, and Birralee Reserve.
Gerringong also has a secluded waterfall with a picturesque swimming hole beneath that looks similar to those in Bali or Fiji.
The Gerringong Falls trail begins at Budderoo off Jamberoo Mountain Road and it takes 50 minutes to hike north to reach the falls.

The remarkable sight has become increasingly popular among hikers. However, despite the beauty it’s said to be challenging to reach and isn’t for the faint-hearted.
The massive waterfall streams down from a river above beside towering cliffs and it’s recommended to take rope at least five metres of rope to reach the depths below.
Travellers Cat Smith and Joe Bird have visited the waterfall before and warned there’s no official signs telling people how to get to the bottom.
‘You’ll need to be comfortable negotiating a rough track for approximately 1km,’ a blog post read.
‘Whilst there are short patches of easy level track, the majority is rocky and there is plenty of loose leaf litter which can be slippery.’
