Secretary of Foreign Relations at “Hama Watan”: Strengthening the principle of the national state as a guarantee of the sovereignty of states

The Secretary of Foreign Relations of the Hamat al-Watan Party explained, in a statement, that the Syrian crisis represents a real test of the principle of the unity of the national state, stressing the necessity of uniting Arab and international efforts to preserve On the territorial integrity of Syria and supporting its national institutions to ensure the restoration of security and stability, he said: « Egypt was and still is a model of a strong national state that rejects external interference and always calls for resolving disputes through dialogue, a position that is consistent with international norms and conventions.
Al-Zahar pointed out that preserving the national state institutions in Syria enhances the chances of reaching peace. To a comprehensive political settlement that protects the interests of the Syrian people and restores the state’s ability to exercise its role in the region, stressing that the presence of national armies and strong institutions is the only way to confront chaos and avoid the disintegration of states, which has a positive impact. on the stability of the entire region.
He concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of the role of Arab countries in supporting Syria during this critical stage, pointing out that strengthening the principle of the national state is not just an option, but rather a necessity to ensure the sovereignty and independence of countries and protect the future of their peoples from interference.
