Savvy shoppers are racing into Kmart to get their hands on a $5 dupe of $27 ‘must have’ beauty buy: ‘It is perfect’
Bargain-loving beauty enthusiasts are heading to Kmart to get their hands on the ‘dupe of the year’ a $5 lip balm they claim ‘is just like Glossier’, a $27 buy which has won over millions of young fans.
The $5 lip balms, which were revealed in a ‘new beauty alert’ on Friday come ‘infused with scented extracts for juicy and hydrated lips’.
The bargain beauty buy comes in min, mango, watermelon, berry, coconut and birthday cake flavours.
Each flavour has a semi-sheer gloss tanging from milky pink to deep purple in colour.
People were instantly infatuated with the product.
‘Glossier duppppeeeeeeee,’ one woman squealed on the post.
‘I just went in and got one of each,’ said another.
‘I have the whole collection, birthday cake is my favourite,’ said another.

‘Kmart, I love you,’ said another woman.
Others thanked the retailer for the dupes which ‘let me feel like I can have the stuff everyone else takes for granted’.
One woman tried to slam the dupe – rallying behind Glossier.
‘Guys get the real thing, they are obviously better,’ she said.
But she was quickly shut down by those with unwavering support for Kmart.
‘It’s a lip product you can get six Kmart dupes for the same price as the real brand, I mean if you are rich do what you want,’ said another.
‘Why would I pay more. This is the same thing but cheaper,’ said another.
Others took to the post to complain.
‘I never see these new things at Kmart. My store has the same stuff as it had two years ago,’ said another.
‘I wish my town had a Kmart,’ said another.
‘I wish these were in New Zealand,’ added a third.
