Russian Air Force Receives New Su-57 Fighters: Will Manufacturer Achieve Ambitious Delivery Target for This Year?
Arab Defense Website September 21, 2024: Russia’s state-owned United Aircraft Corporation has delivered a new batch of fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jets to the country’s armed forces, which have passed factory tests and undergone a series of flight trials in various operational modes supervised by technical personnel from the Ministry of Defense.
The aircraft have already been transferred to their designated base, where Russian military pilots have expressed satisfaction with their performance.
“The aircraft has high flight and technical characteristics, which have been highly appreciated by our pilots,” Vladimir Artyakov, first deputy general director of state-owned defense corporation Rostec, commented, adding that additional Su-57s are at various stages of production.
