
RuPaul’s Drag Race alumn and Drag Race Philippines superstar Bianca Castro-Arabejo — famously known as Jiggly Caliente — has died aged 44.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente,” her family wrote in a heartbreaking Instagram post, confirming the Drag Race star’s death.
“Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
“A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity. She touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world.
“Her legacy is one of love, courage, and light. Though her physical presence is gone, the joy she shared and the space she helped create for so many will remain forever.”

The devastating news comes days after her family announced that Jiggly “experienced a serious health setback” which resulted in the loss of her right leg.
“Due to a severe infection, she was hospitalised and, as a result, has undergone the loss of most of her right leg,” her family shared.

Friends, family and members of the Drag Race family have since flooded the post with condolences and messages of love for Jiggly and her family.
“Love you, Jiggles,” Australia’s Courtney Act wrote.
“Oh my god. My heart is broken! Fly high our queen,” Hannah Conda commented.
“Love you so much sis! Fly high,” Kween Kong wrote.

Jiggly Caliente first entered the RuPaul Drag Race universe in 2021. Since then, she’s appeared on All Stars and the show’s spin-off series, Drag Race Philippines, as a judge for all three seasons.
She truly will be missed. RIP Jiggly.
