Ruben Amorim insists he is at a ‘bigger club with bigger pressure’ than Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou ahead of crunch clash

Ruben Amorim claims Manchester United are a bigger club than Tottenham and he is under more pressure than Ange Postecoglou as they prepare to clash on Sunday.
Both teams find themselves in the bottom half of the table with United one place above Spurs in 13th as they look to stay clear of relegation trouble.
Both coaches have come under scrutiny for steadfastly sticking to their football principles, and Amorim admits he has sympathy for Postecoglou – but believes he has the tougher job.
‘I’m a huge fan of Ange Postecoglou,’ he said. ‘I can understand the connection between me and Ange.
‘We have the same problems, with all due respect I am in a bigger club with bigger pressure and I think it’s important to follow all of these principles.
‘He’s a good guy, a very good coach, and he wants to play football in the right way. It’s a very good thing and we know when we choose this kind of profession it’s a good thing, but then you have to feel that pressure when you don’t win.’

Postecoglou is under-fire at Tottenham following their poor run of results this season
There are 12 points separating United and the bottom three, but Amorim believes the threat of relegation is real and has warned his players that they should not be lured into a false sense of security.
‘The table is impossible to feel comfortable in this moment,’ he added.
‘We just want to win to improve our performance because we are Manchester United and we need to win the next game, we need to improve and perform better. There is no comfortable situation in this club.’
