Well, it’s Pang who gets back in when O’Sullivan misses an attempted long pot. Handful of reds left and this is a great opportunity for a clearance to snatch the frame. A couple of reds are trickily positioned though.

He’s in again in frame six but he breaks down on 33 as he misses a red to the left corner and sticks it up for O’Sullivan. Not ideal.

And Pang does what he needs to. Almost a total clearance, only misses the final black, and it’s a sublime break of 119. Exactly what he needed.

Pang wins frame five to finally get one on the board

Pang grinding away in this break. He moves 55 points ahead and plays a gentle shot into the bunch to free more reds. Well controlled.
