Haris demanded… The need to restart the Safaga Sports Camp, stressing its great importance as it is located in a distinctive tourist city like Safaga, explaining that the camp was considered an ideal destination for sports teams wishing to hold internal training camps without the need to travel long distances and incur additional costs.

Haris pointed out many complaints from sports clubs and teams due to the absence of the camp, as they are facing great difficulties in organizing external training camps in the Red Sea Governorate, due to the distance. And the hardship of travel, stressing that restarting the camp will save the sports teams a lot of effort and costs, in addition to that it will work to exploit its distinguished location in the tourist city of Safaga to enhance sports and tourism activity at the same time.
< p>Haris called, during the discussions of the Youth and Sports Committee of the House of Representatives, for the necessity of developing a comprehensive development plan for the camp to become an integrated sports and tourism destination, in a way that contributes to supporting the sports and tourism sector in Egypt, stressing that restarting the camp could reflect a positive image of investment. Sports in the Red Sea cities, and supports attracting more sports teams from inside and outside Egypt, pointing out that the city of Safaga is one of the most prominent tourist cities in Egypt, and neglecting a sports facility in such a distinguished location is a great loss for sports and tourism alike.
