The Republican People’s Party concluded, this Saturday evening, the training day of the second phase of training and qualifying 3,000 local cadres, as part of the “Your Turn” initiative, which the party launched earlier, with workshops for 500 young men and women participating from the party’s secretariats in each of the following: “Gharbia – Kafr El-Sheikh – Dakahlia” governorates, in honor of Mr. Ahmed Al-Alfi, Assistant Secretary-General for Organization and Membership Affairs (Secretary of Organization Central Party), with the participation of Representative Samia Tawfiq, Secretary of the Party in Gharbia Governorate, Representative Yasser Mounir, Secretary of the Party in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and Mr. Mohamed Hamouda, Secretary of the Party in Dakahlia Governorate.
The training workshops witnessed the presence of Representative Muhammad Wafiq Ezzat, Secretary of the Central Local Councils Secretariat, Representative Makram Radwan, Representative Ali Ahmed Ali, Representative Hoda Al-Tanbari “members of the House of Representatives”, Mr. Nashat Hetah, Secretary of the Central Youth Secretariat, Dr. Karim Salem, Secretary of the Central Education and Political Training Secretariat, Counselor Ahmed Habib, Assistant Secretary of the Central Local Councils Secretariat, as well as members of the Party Secretariat Office in the participating governorates, secretaries of centers and departments, as well as the youth of the Party’s Central Secretariat.
The workshops, which were supervised by MP Mohamed Wafik Ezzat and Dr. Karim Salem, dealt with dividing the participants into groups, each group including the implementation of theses. The supervisory committee on “forming one of the councils, determining the number and how to choose – presenting the idea of local administration in the current reality – presenting a practical model for linking administrative division and local councils – making a proposal for an electoral campaign and how to manage it”.

At the conclusion of the workshop, discussion papers were drafted in each group, and a number of Recommendations.
It should be noted that these workshops and trainings reflect the party’s commitment to activating the role of youth in political and social life, which enhances their ability To bring about positive change in their governorates, through exchanging ideas and experiences, in addition to coming up with practical recommendations that can be implemented in the near future.
