Synopsis
The Eastern Command of Border Security Force has initiated ‘Ops Alert’ along the 4,096 km Indo-Bangladesh border to bolster security before Republic Day. Patrolling will be intensified, especially in riverine and unfenced areas, both day and night. ADG Ravi Gandhi visited the South Bengal Frontier to oversee preparedness and instructed enhanced vigilance.
