"Representatives" The draft criminal procedure law is discussed with the participation of the Minister of Justice and the Head of the Bar Association
Today, Sunday, the House of Representatives, headed by Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, held a public session to discuss the articles of the new draft criminal procedure law, in the presence of the Ministers of Justice, Counselor Adnan Fanjiri, the Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, the head of the Bar Association, Abdel Halim Allam, and the Secretary General of the Bar Association.
Members of the subcommittee that prepared the draft criminal procedure law from the relevant ministries and authorities also participated in the session, in addition to representatives of the Senate, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Council of Ministers’ Advisors, the Ministry of Interior, and the Council. The National Center for Human Rights, and law professors.
The discussions aim to absorb all the visions and proposals related to the articles of the project, which represents a fundamental step in strengthening constitutional rights and freedoms in Egypt.
