Release Date, Cast And Trailer

Hang onto your hats, ya big freaks ‘cos Black Mirror Season Seven is officially on its way, with a release date on the cards for next month.

Not gonna lie, I’m new to Black Mirror meself. I gave it a burl last season ‘cos of all the epic guest stars and lemme tell ya, I was blown away! Although I must admit, it sparked my chilling fear and dread for deepfake and AI which has only grown since, but I guess that was the point of it all, right?

But skipping ahead, here’s everything we know about the exciting new season set to grace our screens real soon.

Black Mirror Season Seven

What is Black Mirror Season Seven about?

There sure is, my friends! Netflix is dropping six brand new episodes, including a sequel to the smash hit and critically acclaimed sci-fi adventure USS Callister.

We also know there’s going to be a sequel to Bandersnatch — you know, the 2018 mindfuck interactive movie with various endings.

According to the series showrunner Charlie Brooker, the original pick-your-own-adventure-esque movie came with a whopping 170-page script and the crew kept saying they’d “never do this again”, per the Hollywood Reporter.

I’m certainly not complaining that they’re giving this another go.

What is the release date for Black Mirror Season Seven?

Netflix has been vague AF for the last year when it comes to the new episodes but we can finally confirm season seven is dropping on Thursday, April 10.

Mark your calendars!!

Is there a trailer for Black Mirror Season Seven?

It’s been a long time coming but yes ma’am, we have finally peeped a look at season seven!!

As promised, Black Mirror is breaking precedent in revisiting one of its previous stories, and the trailer begins with Milioti who will reprise her role as computer programmer Nanette Cole in USS Callister.

Within seconds, we get a glimpse of the star-studded cast, including Poulter and those iconic eyebrows.

I’m seeing plenty of hints of time jumps and/or alternate realities (check out those black and white scenes) and plenty of slow mo’ shots that have me (happily?) anxious for what’s in store.

“Lose your mind. Lose your reality,” the new trailer promises.
