Referring the papers of a merchant to the Mufti who kidnapped a woman in Burj Al Arab in Alexandria

The Alexandria Criminal Court, First Circuit, headed by Counselor Mahmoud Issa Serag El-Din, President of the Court, and with the membership of Counselor Tamer Tharwat Shaheen, Counselor Mohamed Labib Damis, Counselor Abdel-Ati Ibrahim Saleh, Ahmed Sameh, and Mohamed Ghazi, agents of the Public Prosecutor, and Hassan Mohamed Hassan, the court’s secretary, ruled to refer the papers of the accused, “R. A.A., a merchant called on His Eminence the Mufti of Egypt to express his legal opinion while the accused and the accused continued to be imprisoned. A.S.S., a housewife, for the next session, to accuse them of kidnapping, deceit, and assaulting the victim, A.Z.S.

The events of the case registered as No. 9196 of 2024 felonies from the Burj Al Arab Police Department, when the security services of the Alexandria Security Directorate received a notification from the officers of the Burj Al Arab Police Department stating that the accused had kidnapped the victim through deception and coercion and assaulted her in the department’s office.

The investigations revealed that “R.A.A.,” a merchant, and “A.S.S.,” a housewife, kidnapped the victim, “A.Z.S.,” by deceptive methods, and that they had the intention and resolve to have the first accused The first accused assaulted the victim, and when the victim was in her place of residence and accompanied by her 5-year-old son, the second accused, her neighbor, came to her and deluded her into helping her operate one of the electrical appliances, a washing machine, because she was alone. At her residence, she agreed with the neighbors’ promptings and accompanied her young child to the accused’s residential unit. As soon as she went to the bathroom, the first accused surprised her by wrapping a scarf around her tightly and leading her to a bedroom. The second accused took the child to another room far away from her, and the first accused beat the victim. He attacked her, threatening to kill her and her child if she did not fulfill his satanic desire. He assaulted her and photographed her with a phone. After receiving the report, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the prosecution took over the investigation, which decided to refer them to the Alexandria Criminal Court, which issued its decision.
