The iconic chicken shop has surprised customers with the launch of its controversial new item that’s expected to sell out before Christmas.
The fast food chain has teamed up with Australian fragrance brand Angel Aromatics to create a range of drumstick-shaped candles, infused with the iconic scent of Red Rooster’s chicken salt.
The Fried Lights Red Rooster Chicken Candles pack ($29.95) comes with three fried chicken-scented candles: two large drumsticks and a wing, all packaged in the restaurant’s original chicken meal box.
With a unique savoury chicken scent that takes on notes of the famous chicken salt, the candles will keep your home smelling like your favourite menu item.
‘It’s a bold, nostalgic aroma for a collaboration celebrating creativity, fun and the unexpected,’ the creators behind the candle range said.
