Railway" Offers new ways to get train tickets

The Egyptian Railway Authority announced the availability of obtaining travel tickets on all trains, through a number of different methods, to facilitate the public of passengers, and to confront crowding in front of the ticket windows, in the context of ensuring the provision of the best possible service, and in light of modernization. Continuing in all sectors.

The Authority stated – in a statement – that the public passengers can obtain travel tickets through: ticket windows spread across the Authority’s various stations, in addition to city offices outside the stations, with a number 36 offices nationwide.

The Authority continued, It is also possible to book through sales agents from electronic collection companies contracted with the Authority, to provide the service of selling and issuing tickets, which are: (Fawry, Aman, Guarantor, Magic Pay, My Services, O Pay, Talqa, and Cash Call), in addition to reservation machines. The authority explained that it also provides several ways to pay for train tickets through: cash payment at all the authority’s reservation windows and offices, as well as electronic payment with cards. Electronic payment (Visa & Master), at the Authority’s ticket windows.

 

The Authority indicated that payment is also available through the website and mobile phone application, via cards. Electronic payment (Visa & Master), in addition to paying the aforementioned selling agents, whether in cash or electronically, with electronic payment cards (Visa & Master), for merchants affiliated with the selling agents contracting with the Authority.

 

In order to raise the level of service provided to the passenger public, stressing that the Authority is sparing no effort to provide the best possible service to the passenger public, in light of the great interest that the state pays to this vital and important facility, which transports millions of passengers annually, which is What brought about a major qualitative shift in the level of service provided.
