Radio queen Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals the truth behind her explosive Lindsay Lohan feud: ‘I let her have it’
Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed the gritty details behind her explosive feud with Lindsay Lohan during their co-star stint on The Masked Singer Australia in 2019.
The pair became fast friends while filming, but things unravelled when the radio star, 49, failed to defend Lindsay, 38, against allegations of ‘diva behaviour’.
Now, Jackie has opened up about the details of her falling out with the American actress in her autobiography The Whole Truth.
The media personality said she was in the grips of an addiction to prescription pills during her appearance on the inaugural season of The Masked Singer.
She added: ‘Lindsay wasn’t in the greatest of places, either, but she and I got on really well.
‘She was also unstable, and I probably was, too. Pairing us up was a recipe for disaster.’
The Mean Girls star made headlines at the time as reports emerged she was allegedly being a ‘diva’ on set of the singing competition.
However, Jackie remained one of her most stalwart defenders at the time, saying she was ‘super protective’ of her co-star.

‘I had her back when articles began trickling out about her being late on set, or difficult, or irresponsible,’ Jackie wrote.
‘I was super protective of Lindsay and would defend her to the hilt.’
But their close friendship came to a grinding halt one fateful day when Jackie failed to defend Lindsay against disparaging remarks made by Wendell Sailor.
The former rugby star, 50, appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O show following his elimination from The Masked Singer in 2019.

‘He made an off-the-cuff joke about how we were running late for filming because of Lindsay, but he moved on to another topic quickly, so I didn’t say anything to interrupt him. He was kidding anyway,’ Jackie recalled.
‘But Lindsay heard the segment and decided I hadn’t defended her, and the next thing I knew I was on the end of a barrage of late-night text messages from the Hollywood actress about how I’d been a traitor and let her down.’
Still in the grips of her addiction to Stilnox and Panadeine forte, which she was mixing with alcohol, Jackie lashed out at Lindsay over text.

‘I quickly reached my own flashpoint of annoyance and sent a volley back in her direction… I took great offence and I let her have it,’ Jackie said.
The Sydney radio star went on to say she now regrets how she handled the feud with Lindsay, and said she only lashed out because she was ‘hurting’.
Lindsay did not return to The Masked Singer Australia when it was renewed for a 2020 season, as she couldn’t fly to Australia due to Covid travel restrictions.
Curiously, The Parent Trap star unfollowed fellow judges Jackie, Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, and Dannii Minogue after confirming she’d left the show.
She was replaced by Australian comedian Urzila Carlson. Jackie returned for a second season of the franchise, but quit ahead of its third instalment.
