Qamar: The participation of the men’s and beach volleyball teams in the Olympics is reaping the fruits of a strong continental season
Engineer Yasser Qamar, President of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation, confirmed that the Olympic Games currently being held in Paris are extremely difficult, and the Pharaohs team presented a strong performance during their participation in the tournament.
The President of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation thanked the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for its great support for Egyptian sports, as well as Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, who works day and night for the benefit of Egyptian sports, stressing that the men’s and beach volleyball teams achieved distinguished results at the African continent level and topped the current classification, and their participation in the Olympics is like reaping the fruits of a strong season at the African continent level.
The Egyptian beach volleyball team bid farewell to the Paris Olympics from the first round after losing to Spain 2-0, which is the third loss for the Pharaohs women in The Olympics.
