The Homeland Protectors Party welcomed the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which also includes a prisoner exchange deal with the Israeli side, the return of internally displaced persons, and the opening of the Rafah crossing for the entry of aid.
The party stressed that the Egyptian mediation efforts with A number of partners have succeeded in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip.
The Protectors of the Homeland pointed out that Egyptian efforts to support the Palestinian people have not and will not stop in order to reach a just solution. And comprehensive for the issue, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
