President Sisi expresses his solidarity with his Somali counterpart after the last assassination attempt
President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi made a phone call today to Somali President Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud. The President stressed Egypt’s commitment to support the efforts of the Somali government and the Somali National Army towards combating terrorism in its comprehensive concept, which includes intellectual, social, developmental and security dimensions, stressing Egypt’s keenness to continue joint efforts to explore broader horizons for cooperation in various fields, in light of the close brotherly relations and common interests that link the two countries. He thanked the President, praising the Egyptian support for his country, and stressing his country’s commitment to joint work with Egypt in various fields in order to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards stability and prosperity.
