President of the National Council for Women: Farkhunda Hassan is an exceptional personality who preserved the history of Egyptian women
Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, described the late Dr. Farkhunda Hassan as “an exceptional personality, a unique patriot, a seasoned politician and diplomat, and a unique scholar, in love with the nation’s soil,” stressing that she preserved the history of Egyptian women and the National Council for Women during the period One of the most difficult periods in the nation’s history.
This came during her attendance at the opening of the main hall that was inaugurated in the name of the late Dr. Farkhunda Hassan, former Secretary General of the National Council for Women, at the headquarters of the Arab Women’s Organization in Cairo, in the presence of Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director General of the Organization, Dr. Nisreen Al-Baghdadi, Vice President of the Council, and Dr. Wijdan Lotfy, daughter of Dr. Farkhunda Hassan.
In her speech, the President of the Council thanked Dr. Fadia Kiwan for this great loyalty to the history of prominent figures in the work. Women’s Affairs, stressing that “we must emulate them because there is no future for women without a previous history for them.”
She said: “ Dr. Farkhunda Hassan had an honest and sincere message and vision.
