President of the Arab Women Investors Union: President Sisi has achieved a breakthrough in sustainable development and the establishment of fourth generation cities
Dr. Hoda Yassa, President of the Union of Arab Women Investors and member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, confirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was able to achieve a breakthrough in sustainable development in cities and establish fourth-generation cities under the new republic, which represents an unprecedented boom in the field of urbanization, which included 37 cities. In all the governorates of the Republic, most notably the New Administrative Capital, the Sustainable Digital City.
Yassi added, during her speech in a session on the sidelines of the third day of the World Urban Forum in its twelfth session held in Cairo, the importance of international cooperation in achieving Sustainable development, pointing to the Union’s vision, which focuses on encouraging investment, as the main catalyst for achieving comprehensive economic and social development.
Yassi shed light on the Union’s current establishment, on the ground, of an environmentally friendly industrial city with Egyptian investments from Union members, On an area of 50 thousand square meters in the 10th of Ramadan City, it is expected to start operating in the middle of next year and specializes in the petrochemical sector and retraining through the Al-Najah Center for Technical Training on modern technologies to train workers and provide them with job opportunities in the new industrial city.
Hoda confirmed. Yassa said that the sustainable development goals that are planned to be achieved by the year 2030 have become an important necessity, as they represent a plan to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. These goals address the global challenges that we face, and the formation of stronger and more resilient cities and societies.
She pointed out that sustainable development The future of the world is one of the most important topics of the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit, organized by the Union, under the auspices of the Egyptian Council of Ministers and the League of Arab States.
