Pope Tawadros receives a delegation from the Emirates Researchers Center for Research and Studies
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the See of Mark, received today, Tuesday, Dr. Firas Habbal, President of the Emirates Researchers Center for Research and Studies, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation with the Coptic Orthodox Church. To promote the values of peace and conduct joint research that contributes to community cohesion, in addition to providing training programs using artificial intelligence techniques to support scientific research.
This meeting comes in The Center’s efforts to enhance the position of the United Arab Emirates as an international scientific platform that contributes to strengthening interfaith dialogue, the interconnection of countries through scientific research, and the role of youth in this context.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II presented an overview of the history of the Coptic Orthodox Church, Pointing to the church’s interest in supporting national values and spreading peace, while emphasizing its role as an entity far from politics but reflecting the national spirit.
