This Wednesday, November 20, tennis player Rafael Nadal is officially retired, after his defeat the day before and the elimination of Spain in the Davis Cup. After 22 Grand Slam titles, the 38-year-old Spaniard assured that retirement does not scare him, despite the emotion he displayed at the end of his match.
It’s World Children’s Day and 23% of those under 18 do not eat three meals a day in France, according to a Unicef consultation. The organization questioned 20,000 children about their daily lives and their rights. To improve public policies, Unicef calls for child poverty to be treated separately from that of adults.
