Pharmaceutical company Pfizer’s 2021 net profit rose 2.4 times to $21.98 billion.
In addition to net income, Pfizer’s revenue also increased. At the end of the year covered by the corporation’s published financial report, it doubled to reach $81.288 billion, and the company’s revenues from selling vaccines amounted to $13.914 billion.
In 2020, that amount was only $2 billion.
By the end of 2022, the company plans to receive revenue of $98-102 billion, and revenue for the COVID-19 vaccine jointly developed with BioNTech will be $32 billion.
