The Parliamentary Body for Coordinating Youth of Parties and Politicians followed with great interest the statement delivered by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, before the House of Representatives, about the plans and policies of the Ministry of Health during the coming period. The Parliamentary Coordinating Body confirmed, in a statement today, that the health care file, especially comprehensive health insurance, is a basic pillar in providing a social umbrella capable of supporting a decent life for Egyptians. It appreciates the statement of the Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and the Minister of Health and Population, which is the first for the new government. The statement included the most prominent challenges and opportunities facing the health sector, and the strategies adopted to improve the level of medical services and the implementation rates of the comprehensive health insurance system.
The Parliamentary Coordination Body announced that it will continue to Follow up on the implementation of the plans of the Ministry of Health, which are of interest to the Egyptian citizen and work to provide him with good service, including comprehensive health insurance, which is scheduled to include 100% of citizens by 2030. It will also closely follow the plan to develop health infrastructure and support the capabilities of medical staff in order to achieve Completion of the health system.
