Counselor Hussein Abu Al -Atta, head of the & RDQUO party, stressed, member of the Executive Office of the Egyptian Parties Alliance, that the approval of the House of Representatives on the draft criminal procedure law is a milestone legislative step and a historical achievement added to the march of the new republic led by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi.
& nbsp; Al -Ata & LDQUO; in a statement today, Tuesday, that the new law came integrated and comprehensive, reflects a conscious political will, and a deliberate legislative vision aimed at developing the criminal justice system in Egypt in an unprecedented way, in a way that guarantees the real balance between protecting society from crime on the one hand, preserving the dignity of the citizen and ensuring its constitutional rights on the other hand. & rdquo; Egyptians & ldquo; Until the draft law reflects the spirit of the Egyptian constitution, and is directly consistent with the principles established by the National Human Rights strategy, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi in September 2021, and whose eyes were placed in building the state of law, and the provision of a modern legislative environment that guarantees the accomplishment and equality before the law.
& nbsp; The draft law of clear and strict articles in organizing legal procedures, determining the time periods of the pre -trial phase, organizing the work of the Public Prosecution and investigations, and using technology in litigation procedures, as well as setting effective mechanisms to accelerate justice and achieving legal deterrence without prejudice to the legal guarantees of any accused.
& nbsp; Al -Ata & LDQUO; The project represents a real qualitative shift in Egyptian legislation, especially in light of the comprehensive development in the state in its various institutions, especially the judiciary and the public prosecutor, stressing that this law enhances the confidence of the citizen in the judicial system and reformulates the relationship between the citizen and the state in a framework of full respect for rights and freedoms. & rdquo; Egyptians & ldquo; To the intensification of community awareness campaigns in the new law, and training legal and police cadres to apply it optimally, to ensure the achievement of the desired goals on the ground, noting that this law does not only concern the lawmen, but its impact extends to every Egyptian home as the first wall to protect justice and society.
& nbsp; Politics, the House of Representatives, and the Legislative and Constitutional Affairs Committee for their great effort to come out of the law in this honorable form, stressing that the new republic is already built on the foundations of justice, respect for man, and the rule of law, which was adopted by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi.
