Parliamentarian: The flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip reveals Egypt’s role in supporting the Palestinian people

Representative Amr El-Gamati, a member of the Senate, said that Egypt is fully keen to support the Palestinian people in various circumstances, and its aid varies between political and humanitarian support and advocacy for the cause in various international forums.

 

Al-Qamati noted, in a press statement today, the influx of hundreds of trucks and aid into the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire took effect, noting that the humanitarian aid provided by Egypt to the Gaza Strip reflects the firm position of the leadership. political support for the Palestinian people.

 

The senator indicated that sending relief convoys to Gaza comes within the framework of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to help those affected by the current crisis, while ensuring the arrival of Aid is delivered safely to those in need, explaining that what happened in Gaza is a horrific disaster by all standards.

 

Amr El-Gamaty explained that Egypt has not stopped for a day, whether before October 7 or later in supporting the Palestinian people and extending a helping hand to them, whether through the National Alliance for Civil Action, the Egyptian Red Crescent, or others, and with direct directives from the political leadership.
