Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has shut down rumors on social media that she’ll pose topless if Rickie Fowler finally wins a major championship this year.
The social media star, who boasts four million Instagram followers, was asked if it was true that she would show her breasts online if Fowler ended his wait to win one of golf’s biggest prizes.
Fowler has been one of golf’s most famous names for nearly two decades and has agonizingly finished in the top three of every major championship without winning one.
But Spiranac, 31, was quick to confirm the aforementioned post was created by a fake account and that she would categorically never do so.
Addressing the question, she said: ‘Four or five years ago, someone created a fake tweet that said I will show the girls if Rickie Fowler wins a major.
‘So, every single year, this fake tweet pops up all the time and I get asked if it’s real or not.

‘It’s fake. Girls are real, tweet is fake and it will never die. Every year I’m like “finally, it won’t pop up” and it just popped up yesterday and it will never die. It’s insane.’
Now known as a model and influencer, Spiranac became a professional golfer in 2015 after competing for the University of Arizona and San Diego State University at the collegiate level.
She participated in various tournaments including the Ladies European Tour and the Cactus Tour.
Behind the course, Spiranac has gained a massive following and achieved much success as an influencer amassing millions of followers across different platforms.
Furthermore, she was named the Sexiest Woman Alive in Maxim’s Hot 100 list in 2022.
In November, she did not hold back when addressing the selective support among women when embracing their sexuality.

Spiranac re-posted a tweet about singer Sabrina Carpenter from September, which praised the hit-maker for embracing her sexuality while appealing to a female audience.
‘Like how is she performing in lingerie and I still feel like it’s not for men at all? I can’t comprehend it, but I love it,’ the tweet read.
Spiranac, who has been trolled for her content, responded by writing, ‘I dislike how women pick and choose when it’s okay to support other women for embracing their sexuality depending on if it appears to be for the female or male gaze.’
‘Women should be able to embrace their sexuality if that’s what makes them feel empowered,’ she continued. ‘One shouldn’t be called a genius while the other is called an attention whore for doing the same exact thing.’
