NEW YORK (WABC) — Saturday was the last day of dinner at many outdoor dining areas in New York City.
The deadline for restaurants to apply for shed permits under the new system was the end of the day on Aug. 3.
Restaurants that do not submit applications must dismantle their warehouses immediately.
Fines for establishments that do not comply will start at $500.
Ticket sales could start at any time.
