On the sidelines of the “Urban Forum”.. The Prime Minister meets with the Qatari Minister of Social Development
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly met with Ms. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misned, Minister of Social Development and the Qatari Family, today, on the sidelines of the World Urban Forum in its twelfth edition, in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Ambassador Ihab Fahmy, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Affairs, and ministry officials.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, welcomed the guests, stressing the fruitful cooperation with the sister State of Qatar, sending His greetings to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, extending an invitation to him to visit Egypt soon.
For her part, the Qatari Minister of Social Development and Family expressed her welcome. The Prime Minister, and conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, and also conveyed the greetings of the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his wishes for success in organizing the forum. The Qatari Minister also thanked the Prime Minister for the directive to provide all aspects of facilitation and support to increase cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, the frameworks of cooperation between the two countries were reviewed, as well as between Associations and civil work institutions in the two brotherly countries. The Prime Minister continued, saying: We are ready to cooperate in various fields in a way that contributes to achieving the interests of the two brotherly countries.
For her part, Dr. Maya Morsi indicated that there is a partnership with Qatar and Turkey. Through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in a number of files, including the role of the family and the empowerment of women. At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly asked to convey greetings to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
