Olympics sprint star Fred Kerley tasered and charged with battery in Miami after trying to fight cops

American Olympics sprint star Fred Kerley was tasered before being charged with battery on a police officer in Miami on Thursday night.

Officers claim Kerley, who won 100m bronze at last year’s Olympics in Paris, interfered with a separate police scene near Miami’s iconic Ocean Drive. 

It’s claimed the 29-year-old then tried to fight officers and had to be tasered as a result, according to local news station WSVN.
