“I am a London-based fashion photographer my work looks at blending soft, natural light with a focus on capturing the vibrant energy of youth subculture. I bring a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, and aim to create images that exude playfulness and authenticity.

“This project explores the blend of bringing sport into fashion with trends such as ‘Blokette Core’ which recently became popular on social media, bringing together football sports wear with hyperfeminine styling such as lace and bows. I wanted to look at this as highlighting the push for inclusivity in sport as well as way of showing how these two opposite aesthetics are being explored in modern fashion, bringing together the fast-paced movement of sport with the delicate posing and softness of the images” – Char Hodgkins

“Boxing has been a sport which has interested me for the past five years of my life, so having the privilege to design shorts for boxers simply combined my two favourite things: fashion and boxing. This pair of shorts, which I designed for JP O’Meara’s debut professional fight, was inspired by his love for West Ham, as well as his taste for a simplistic yet eye-catching kit to stand out in the boxing scene. The contrast of the minimal kit in claret and baby blue satin, paired with the loud gold and white sparkle on the name and logos of the kit reflected his vision. Alongside the shorts, JP also had a matching jacket which he wore in his ring walk, going on to wear this kit for both his first and second professional fights” – Liam Page

“I am a London-based image maker who uses styling, set design and photography to explore socio-cultural topics such as sexism, sexuality, self-expression and body politics. My passion for creating intentional and visually intriguing characters goes hand in hand with my love for manual-making and customisation – a distinctive feature in my work.

Race Me began as a university styling project that aimed to create empowering, playful, sporty, female characters to comment on the historical exclusion of women from sports and to challenge the notion that femininity and sportiness are mutually exclusive. Initially inspired by the Viagra Mark Martin racing jacket, I manipulated branded vintage male sportswear into powerful ‘feminine’ looks. I used car toys and miscellaneous rubber materials to create playful props that carried a political message by resonating with the shared experience of many women who were socialised into refraining from playing with ‘boys’ toys’ growing up.

“Presented here are the BTS film shots captured by different members of a collaborative team put together to create an editorial shoot for Race Me, as well as the final images taken by photographer Mikaela Smila. I am immensely grateful to all the talented creatives that helped bring this project to life.Race Me is a project that truly shaped me as a creative” – Myrto Peristiani

“I am a portrait photographer from Amstelveen in The Netherlands. I combine my passion for drawing with photography, and am constantly inspired by music and the world around me. These creative impulses help me create unique images that capture a sense of movement and dynamism. By combining my creative vision with diverse subjects, I aim to create images that linger and inspire. My goal is to push the boundaries of traditional portrait photography and create images that leave a lasting impression.

“Skate culture has inspired me a lot and I’ve been exploring this subject for a while now. Here we take a dive into the skate culture at Flipside Skatepark in Curaçao. Skating is more than just a sport, it’s a lifestyle and community. Witness the community that has formed here at Flipside Skatepark. Where you can escape from reality and connect with people. This series brings you close to the dynamic movement of skateboarding, capturing the essence of what makes it special” – Nova den Hartog

“As a photographer and a football fan living in Milan, I had the chance to shoot this editorial to celebrate the team I support (which is FC Internazionale Milano) thanks to @footballkitzcollection, an Inter kits collector who lent me some of his pieces. The project was fully shot on 35mm film and titled A Tribute to my team – FC Internazionale Memorabilia” – Francesca Scandella

Playground is a publication series displaying a collective of dancers, shining light on the local talent. Being a dancer myself I have always found myself thinking that there isn’t enough representation of us in the world of sports. It is a sport like any other that demands discipline, strength, and endurance. Dance is a constant expression of identity. It is a vast collection of styles and provides a space for exploration. Everyone brings their own unique way of movement to the playground” – Nalan

“I’m a film photographer from the Bay Area bringing compelling stories & images to life. My photography illustrates how college sports can be a unifying force, providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents and contribute to their communities. USC’s diverse student body and emphasis of Trojan pride enabled creative atmospheres for me as an artist to showcase my school spirit” – Blake Becton
