Well, the rumours are (thankfully) true. Just days after it was widely speculated that Oasis will be heading Down Under as part of their long-awaited reunion tour, new reports now claim that the band has selected the Australian dates for their Oasis Live ’25 Tour.
According to Rolling Stone Australia, sources close to Oasis have confirmed a two-date run of Australian shows slated for October and November of next year.
The “Wonderwall” singers will kick off the Aussie jaunt with an initial show at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday, October 31. The next date is booked for Sydney’s Accor Stadium a week later on Friday, November 7.
If demand is high enough for those two initial shows (it will be), sources say the Gallagher brothers will flesh out the week-long gap with additional Aussie tour stops, and perhaps an extended run after the Sydney date.
Rolling Stone reports that the band will officially announce the Australian dates for the 2025 reunion tour next week on Monday, October 7.
It comes one week after the rumour mill was churning with anticipation around Oasis’ potential visit, with reports circulating at the time that the duo had added Australia, Asia and the US to their reunion tour, which was initially only slated for Ireland and the UK.
