The Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Industries Research Institute at the National Research Center, in cooperation with the Italian Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry, is holding the first international conference on biotechnology and biodiversity of natural resources, which will be held in its first session on the 5th and 6th of next November, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Fajr. Abdel Gawad – Acting Head of the National Research Center – and Prof. Dr. Emad Hassan – Deputy Director of the Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Industries Research Institute, headed by Prof. Dr. Faten Abdel Hadi Prof. Dr. Kamel Shaker, Vice President of the Conference.
The conference aims to follow up on the latest developments in the various applications of natural resources available throughout the country, such as plants, herbs, marine organisms or microbes, and their ability to be converted into products that serve individuals in an attempt to reduce the gap between scientific research and society’s requirements in the medical and economic field in line with the state’s vision.
