NFL star Patrick Peterson set to return to Arizona Cardinals and retire after 13 years in football

Patrick Peterson is going to rejoin the Arizona Cardinals and reitre on Monday, bringing an end to his 13-year career in the NFL.
The 34-year-old cornerback is returning to the team that took him with the fifth pick of the 2011 draft.
He joined the Minnesota Vikings in 2020 and was most recently with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who released him in March 2024. Peterson then didn’t play during the 2024 season.
Peterson posted on Instagram: ‘It was nothing like taking flight with the bird gang on Sundays. See you next week @azcardinals.’
It was at the Cardinals where Peterson established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the game, making eight straight Pro Bowls from 2011 through 2018.
Overall, he played 201 games in the NFL.
