NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre slams Joe Biden’s ‘garbage’ outburst during speech at Donald Trump rally
Brett Favre launched a furious attack on Joe Biden after the president labelled Donald Trump supporters ‘garbage’.
Biden overshadowed Kamala Harris’ ‘closing’ campaign speech with an astonishing outburst that evoked memories of Hillary Clinton’s infamous ‘deplorables’ comment in 2016.
The president’s comments came after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe likened Puerto Rico to a ‘floating island of garbage’ at a Trump rally in New York.
On Wednesday former Packers quarterback Favre, a three-time Super Bowl champion, campaigned for Trump at rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
‘I can assure you we’re not garbage,’ Favre said. ‘How dare he say that?’

‘I see police officers, teachers, nurses, grandparents, students. I see everyday Americans that make this country great,’ he continued as the crowd cheered in agreement.
‘There’s never been a more important time in our lives than right now in this election,’ continued his prelude.
‘The stakes are incredibly high,’ he said in his address. ‘Families across Wisconsin are struggling to make ends meet. People’s salaries haven’t kept up with inflation. It’s getting harder for younger people to buy their first home. People are losing hope in the American dream.’
Favre cited the 50 fentanyl overdoses in Brown County, Wisconsin, last year, claiming it wasn’t just ‘about money. He also emphasized how the younger generation ‘face[s] the prospect of World War III.’
‘We’ve already had President Trump once — we’ve already seen Kamala in action. We can compare, and we know which is better,’ Favre continued. ‘The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results… It would be insane to give Kamala four more years in office. So it’s time to bench Kamala and put in the star quarterback.’

‘USA is a great country. But we all know this: Kamala broke it. Trump will fix it,’ Favre added. ‘I have lived the American dream, but I want to make sure that future generations get to, as well. So remember this: Let’s make America great again.’
After his remarks, Trump showed his gratitude toward Favre for singing his praises.
‘Thank you, Brett. What a great honor. What a great champion,’ Trump said shortly after taking the stage at the Resch Center. Trump also likened Favre’s fingers to ‘sausages’ and said: ‘No wonder he could throw the ball.’
‘I´m a little upset because I think he got bigger applause than me, and I’m not happy,’ the former president said, joking about the ovation Favre received in a county that Trump narrowly won in 2020.
Favre, who won three NFL Most Valuable Player awards and a Super Bowl for Green Bay in the 1990s, praised Trump before the former president arrived, telling the crowd, ‘Much like the Packer organization, Donald Trump and his organization was a winner.’
Favre’s remarks received a loud ovation, the NFL legend was also praised by Trump himself
Favre played for the Green Bay Packers from 1992-2007 and won a Super Bowl title in 1997
‘The United States of America won with his leadership,’ Favre said.
A longtime supporter of Trump and other Republicans, Favre spent most of his career with the Green Bay Packers, winning the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award three times and a Super Bowl. But the Pro Football Hall of Famer has been in the news lately for a welfare scandal in his home state of Mississippi.
Favre has posted and reposted social media messages supporting Trump and criticizing Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee.
‘In all the elections I’ve seen over my lifetime, I’ve never seen one where there was so much hate,’ Favre posted Monday on X. ‘It’s certainly sad to see.’
