New footage of Tyson Fury’s backstage meltdown after Oleksandr Usyk loss emerges… as Gypsy King’s outburst makes for tough viewing
Fresh footage of Tyson Fury’s indignant post-fight tirade has emerged, after the Gypsy King slipped to a points defeat against Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.
In a thrilling contest where neither man refused to give an inch, it was the Ukrainian who finished the stronger, just as he did seven months ago, to pick up a repeat victory.
Usyk became undisputed champion by just a single point in May as he earned a split decision win, but this time it was more clear-cut as all three judges scored the bout 116-112 in his favour.
Fury promptly left the ring after the result was announced having clearly been disappointed that his efforts got very little recognition from the judges.
The punch stats revealed the Brit had thrown more punches in the contest, with 509 to Usyk’s 423. But Usyk landed 179 across the 12 rounds compared to 144 by Fury.
Regardless, the Gypsy King was still left infuriated by a damaging second defeat on the spin and let his emotions boil over in a backstage meltdown following the bout.

In a video that appeared on X, the outburst began as he stormed out of the ring, with the Brit telling attendees that some people had seen the fight differently to the judges.
He said: ‘The promotors, Oscar De La Hoya… said he had me four rounds up. It is what it is, innit.’
But the fireworks truly began as he headed to his dressing room.
‘It’s a no-hoper then completely,’ he added. ‘Every f****** round.
‘Robbed there, f**k ’em. I thought I won it by at least three rounds.
‘I bossed on [the] front foot all night.
‘I’ll tell you what it is, you’re not getting nothing in these countries.’
Overall Usyk landed 42 per cent of his punches, with Fury way down on 28 per cent.

Daniel Dubois demanded a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk following the latter’s victory over Tyson Fury
In the press conference, Fury was flatly asked what’s next for him after coming up short in undisputed and then unified title fights, signalling the first losses of his entire professional career.
‘You might see me fight again, you might not,’ he cryptically answered.
But most of the boxing world suspects we do indeed see him fight again and, finally, against Anthony Joshua.
The domestic dust-up has been mooted for the best part of a decade, ever since Fury first became champion when he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.
A win for the Gypsy King on Saturday night would have almost guaranteed a trilogy fight between him and Usyk but that looks extremely unlikely in light of his defeat in Saudi Arabia.
For Usyk, a rematch against Daniel Dubois looks an enticing prospect after he defeated the Brit via knockout in the ninth round when they faced each other in Poland in August 2023.
Since his defeat to Usyk, Dubois has prevailed against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Joshua.
Dubois still holds a grudge following his defeat to Usyk and described it as a ‘robbery’.

Usyk credited his wife Katerina for helping him beat Fury on Saturday night
It was a subtle dig, perhaps, at Fury, who said he had not even spoken to his wife Paris for three months as he geared up for the fight
After crashing Usyk’s ring interview, he said: ‘Well done on tonight. I want my revenge for the robbery last time. Let’s get in here. Let’s go.’
Asked by Ade Oladipo after the fight about a potential rematch with Dubois, the undisputed champion said: ‘No problem’.
After the fight, Usyk suggested his wife was responsible for his victory over Tyson Fury in a subtle dig at the Brit – after the Gypsy King ignored his beloved Paris for three months.
Fury locked himself away in an intensive camp and claimed he had not spoken to his wife Paris, who he married in 2008 and has seven kids with.
The pair were finally reunited on Thursday night at the pre-fight press conference but their coalition did not inspire Fury to victory on Saturday in Riyadh.
