NBA rocked by another blockbuster trade that sees De’Aaron Fox join San Antonio Spurs and Victor Wembanyama

Another major three-team deal in the NBA has happened less than 24-hours after the Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis trade involving the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Sacramento Kings are moving star point guard De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs in a deal that also involves the Chicago Bulls.

Zach Lavine, a star on the Bulls, will be moving to the Kings as a result of this deal.

The full trade will see Fox and Jordan McLaughlin go from the Kings to the Spurs.

As for the Bulls, they’ll receive Spurs forward Zach Collins, guard Tre Jones, guard Kevin Huerter, and their own 2025 first-round pick they sent to San Antonio to facilitate the DeMar DeRozan trade.

Meanwhile, the Kings received a haul: LaVine, guard/forward Sidy Cissoko, three first round picks (2025 first from Charlotte, 2027 first from San Antonio, 2031 first from Minnesota) and three second round picks (2025 second from Chicago, 2028 second from Denver, and the Kings’ own second in 2028 back to them).

After weeks of speculation about Fox’s future in Sacramento, he made it clear that he wanted to move on and that San Antonio was his preferred destination.

Now, he’s off to work with Victor Wembanyama and the rest of the Spurs’ youthful cast of rising stars like Stephon Castle, Jeremy Sochan, and Devin Vassell.
