Within the framework of the presidential initiative, the New Beginning Initiative for Building Human Beings, the branch of the National Council for Women in Kafr El-Sheikh participated in the craft and handicrafts exhibition at the Khaledeen Club in Kafr El-Sheikh Center, which was opened by the Governor, Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati.
Dr. Amani Shaker, rapporteur of the Council’s branch in Kafr El-Sheikh, confirmed that the Council had participated in the exhibition with various handicrafts, crafts and food products and industries, which included carpets, kilims, textiles, beads, ceramics, handmade bags, Furnishings, food industries, and baked goods, pointing to the quality of the products offered, which reflect the national identity.
The Rapporteur of the Council’s branch in the governorate confirmed that the Council, with its various projects, works to provide multiple opportunities for training and qualification, To support and encourage craft industries and the development of handicrafts, with the aim of improving product quality through many initiatives and exhibitions implemented by the state to support craft projects, makers and artisans to achieve economic development and provide job opportunities.
During the opening, the governor praised the exhibits, stressing support for women working in craft and handicraft industries, and holding many free exhibitions to market their products and industries in all centers and cities of the governorate, in addition to running free promotional campaigns for their products to encourage them.
