Tottenham have reportedly made a two-man shortlist to replace Ange Postecoglou in case the team’s results continue to decline this season.
The Spurs boss is under high pressure again after his side suffered a disappointing 2-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
The devastating loss saw Tottenham drop to 14th place in the Premier League standings with just 34 points after 29 games.
It is understood that the Europa League triumph is viewed as critical by the board for Postecoglou’s future in the team with the tournament being the only realistic hope for a silverware this season.
However, according to The Telegraph, Spurs have already decided that Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva will certainly be among the leading candidates to take over the squad in the next season.
But, the report stated that the current board remains supportive of Postecoglou management despite a poor season, which was extremely hit by several key players’ injuries.
