Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier cosy up to Zara and Mike hours after appearing in Meghan’s Netflix trailer

The Duchess of Sussex’s pals Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier cozied up to Zara and Mike Tindall hours after appearing in the trailer for With Love, Meghan.

Princess Anne’s daughter and her husband cut chic figures as they attended the Magic Millions event on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Zara, 43, and Mike, 46, are longtime supporters of the event, for which the royal is an ambassador.

Magic Millions is a thoroughbred racehorse auction house that often holds events throughout the year.

Zara is a known keen horsewoman and has even competed in the Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in 2012 as part of the Great Britain Eventing Team.

The couple came across Harry and Meghan’s close friends, Nacho and Delfina, who also attended the occasion on Friday.

Nacho, 47, is an Argentine polo player with a keen interest in horses and was recently seen in Prince Harry’s Netflix series, Polo.

Whereas Delfina recently starred in Meghan’s trailer for her new Netflix series, where she was seen giggling with what appeared to be a cocktail in her hand.

When Meghan posted the trailer on Thursday, Delfina added it to her Instagram story and wrote: ‘Congrats for the love and hard work you put into this project of yours!

‘So grateful to be a part of it – I can’t wait to see all you have to share.’

But Delfina and Nacho seemed to be all smiles with Zara and Mike as they posed alongside each other at the event.

Nacho was seen wrapping his arms around Mike as they beamed for the camera, with Zara on the other side of her husband.

They were also joined by Billy and Nicole Slater, who were posing for the image in-between the two couples.

Zara opted for a stunning black gown constructed of semi-sheer lace with cutouts that showed a hint of skin.

The dress featured an eye catching floral embroidery down the centre in white, yellow and green tones.

She completed the look with pointed black heels and a designer clutch in a metallic leather.

Zara opted for a glowing makeup look with hints of blush while pulling her blonde hair off her face.

Mike meanwhile chose a muted brown suede jacket paired with black trousers and a matching tie.

He completed the look with black leather boots and a white dress shirt, grinning as he cuddled up close to his stunning wife.

Delfina seemingly matched with Zara, donning a strapless baby blue satin dress which also had a giant flower embroidered on the front.

The frock had a big slit in the middle, showing off her strappy nude heels. She accessorised the look with a clutch bag and wore her blonde tresses down in a curly blow-dry.

Nacho looked smart in a matching grey suit which he paired with a crisp white shirt and cream suede loafers.

Delfina and Meghan have formed such a strong friendship through their husband’s passion for the sport that they have even referred to each other as ‘sister’ and ‘fellow polo wife’.

The Duchess of Sussex launched her new Instagram account – which now boasts over one million followers – on New Year’s Day.

She posted a reel, which was filmed by Prince Harry, of herself running barefoot on a sandy beach before writing ‘2025’.

Delfina added Meghan’s video to her own story, writing that she was ‘so proud’ of her.

‘Hola M. Can’t wait to see more. Love you friend and so proud of you,’ she captioned the reposted video.

Meghan and Delfina became fast friends after being introduced by their husbands, who are thought to have had a friendship from as far back as 2007.

It has long been rumoured the profile belonged to Meghan after the account was set up back in June, 2022, but remained empty. She then teased fans again in 2023 when she declared she was ‘getting back on Instagram’.

Now the mother-of-two has confirmed the profile is hers, by posting a clip walking towards the shoreline at the beach in California, where she lives with Prince Harry, and children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

The move is a huge u-turn for the Duchess, and is understood to be part of a new chapter for the couple and their lives in America, with her and Harry having previously ditched social media after quitting their royal duties.

As well as her first post, the @meghan account also updated its profile picture to a black-and-white shot of Meghan smiling and wearing and elegant white dress.

Zara and Mike’s outing with Harry and Meghan’s friends comes as the former rugby star revealed he found joining the Royal family ‘easy’ and insisted it was all down to him ‘being nice to them’.

In a new interview with The Telegraph to promote his book, The Good, the Bad & the Rugby – Unleashed, with James Haskell and Alex Payne, the former rugby player said joining royal life was ‘simple really’.

He wrote: wrote ‘Believe it or not, marrying into the Royal family was pretty easy for me. They were always nice to me, and I was always nice to them. Simple really.’

The ‘easy’ marriage is in stark contrast with others, namely Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle who formerly stepped down from all royal duties, alongside her husband in 2020 – less than two years after she joined the family.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s transition into royal life was marred by tense relations with the family, including her eventually resulting in the couple’s split from their roles as senior royals.

The American actress was reported to have a ‘tense’ and troubled relationship to her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, following alleged disagreements surrounding Meghan’s choice of flower girls’ dresses at her wedding in 2018.

In comparison, Mike is seen to have nurtured his relationships with his in-laws, including with Prince William and his eldest son, George.

During the interview, Mike also revealed the close bond he shares with Prince George, 11, the first born son of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The rugby fanatic is known to have a close relationship with the young royal – and was snapped affectionately ruffling his hair during December’s Christmas day service.
