A man has died at a popular holiday spot in front of shocked beachgoers.
Emergency services were called to Umina Beach on the NSW Central Coast shortly after 7pm on Sunday night following reports of a man found unresponsive and not breathing.
The man could not be revived, despite the desperate efforts of paramedics.
A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that ‘the incident has been deemed a medical episode at this stage’.

Harrowing photos of the cordoned off crime scene show officers surrounding the body lying in the middle of a car park covered with a sheet under a tent.
A woman was heard crying inconsolably while other members of the group could be seen with hands on knees apparently in shock.
NSW Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
