A Londoner has hit the ‘jackpot’ after walking away with over £100 worth of baked goods in a Too Good to Go bag.
The woman, who goes by the username @piquillopeppers on TikTok, took to the app to share her ‘insane’ haul after she bagged £118.80 worth of bread, cakes and pastries from a Gail’s in the British capital.
The Too Good to Go app lets you buy bags of leftovers from shops, hotels and restaurants in a bid to minimise food waste – but the contents are a mystery until you collect them.
The TikToker paid only £5 to rescue a bag of fresh food from the high street chain bakery, and was amazed to discover she had more than £100 worth of goods.
She took home seven loaves of bread, eight buns and five muffins in her humongous rescue bag.

At the start of the video she said: ‘I got over £100 worth of food from a Too Good To Go bag from Gail’s in central London.
‘I got incredibly lucky and they gave me three whole bags as they had a particularly quiet day.
‘The bread selection was two of their white San Francisco sourdoughs (priced at £4.60 each), one small garlic and rosemary focaccia (£3.30), and four of the brown sour dour loaves (£3.30) which will freeze really well.’
Moving onto the pastries, the TikToker revealed that she had bagged a stash of pastries and sweet treats.
In her second bag of treats, she found two all butter croissants, which usually sell for £2.65 each in store.
Describing the find as ‘wild’, she also showed off a whopping eight blueberry and custard brioches, from the bag.
The round blueberry stuffed sweet breads would normally set you back £4.10, earning her £32.80 worth of berry filled treats.
Next in the sweet bag, she uncovered four chocolate chip muffins and a blueberry one, panning the camera across a mountain of perfectly cooked golden buns.
